En raison d'une programmation spéciale Disquaire Day sur Rinse France, ce quatorzième #DTR n'a pu être diffusé en direct samedi midi. Du coup, on en a profité pour vous peaufiner un mix MASSIF qui balaye, dans un grand élan d'amour fraternel, 34 ans de Philly rap. On a même demandé à Noumzee, un peu notre DJ Too Tuff à nous, de faire chauffer ses platines au passage. Un grand merci à lui, les enchaînements et les scratches sont aussi propres que le high top fade d'EST des Three Times Dopes !
Bien sûr, impossible de caser tout le monde : The High & Mighty, Black Deniro, Mike Knox, Reed Dollaz, Lord Aaqil, Munk Wit Da Funk, Rahsheed et ill Advised, Gillie Da Kid, The Last Emperor, Trauma Center, Yvette Money, etc. etc. ça sera pour une prochaine fois. Et Kicket aurait bien aimé glisser un ou deux Schoolly D en plus. Mais, de l'Ouest au Sud de la ville, voici déjà un panorama assez complet avec, c'est la base, pas mal de The Roots dedans (dont la version originale de "You Got Me" extraite de l'indispensable bootleg Do This Well).
